The accommodation in Antequera—a delightful experience

During the Championship there will be two different hotels available for participants. They are located in Antequera in order to guarantee a pleasant stay for everyone and a uniform quality level of accommodation. Participants will be distributed in double and triple rooms approved by EUSA. All the sports facilities can be reached from the different hotels on foot, but a shuttle service will also be available.

Distribution of teams in the different hotels will be decided according to their registration date, room distribution and safety concerns. However, all the participants of the Championship, regardless of which hotel they’ll be staying, will be able to use the Antequera Hotel swimming pool during its opening hours (Monday-Sunday: 11:00 am-20:00 pm).

Antequera Hotel

The OC headquarters will be located here. This 4-star hotel is placed right in front of the Municipal Indoor Sports Centre "El Maulí", 400 meters away from the Municipal Sports Complex “Fernando Argüelles” and 500 meters away from the Technified Indoor Athletics Sport Centre.

It has 180 bedrooms, 12 lounges and an outdoor swimming pool, gardens and terraces, SPA and fitness center, medical service, football pitches, cafeteria, disco, an open-air car park and an indoor garage, among other things.

Las Villas de Antikaria Hotel

Las Villas de Antikaria is a 3-star hotel located in the northern part of the city. It’s equipped with 33 rooms, a spacious social room, reading room and solarium, and has spectacular views of the Antequera valley.

Meals

All the hotels aforementioned have high quality restaurants where meals will be served. Teams will have breakfast at the restaurant of their hotel, but lunch and dinner will take place at the Antequera Hotel (even for those staying at Las Villas de Antikaria Hotel).

Meals will be served in buffet style, and will contain a large variety of the best regional and national products, including different types of vegetables, meat and fish. The menu will change on a daily basis to allow participants to try as many different dishes always adapted to any special needs participants may have, as possible.

The only drink included in the meals is water.

Delegations can ask the Organizing Committee for special types of meals in advance, such as vegetarian or gluten-free. Participants must have their accreditation card on them to access the dining room for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The opening hours of the dining rooms will be as follows:

  • Breakfast: 07:30 – 10:30
  • Lunch: 13:00 – 16:30
  • Dinner: 20:00 – 23:00
